Week 46 and Christmas is just around the corner! How quickly this year has gone.
A couple of exciting events for us this week. The first was being able to move back in downstairs after the painters finished. So nice to have it finished down there in time for Christmas and so nice for me to be able to spread out in my room again and not have to pack up every evening from the lounge room floor!
The second exciting event was the eclipse. We didn’t observe the total eclipse here as we are too far south but we did have a partial eclipse that saw me out in the back yard wearing Neal’s welding helmet! This amazing photograph was taken by Lee-Ann from Scrap Therapy in Babinda – a bit further up the road. What a great shot!
Work was not much fun this week so I was very happy to get to the weekend. We hadn’t planned to see Santa this early but they were having Elves story time while we were at the shops so Flynnie and Paige went to listen. Paige also took Flynnie up to say hello to Santa – Flynnie is a bit suspicious of the man in red so appreciated the moral support!
Sunday was very hot and humid so we went to the pool for the afternoon which was lovely. Flynnie is getting more and more confident in the water which is great to see after how he was at the beginning of the year.
As usual I will be sharing this post for Project Life Tuesday over at The Mom Creative. Click over there for heaps of Project Life blogs and inspiration.
